Your Responsibilities
- Write and refine high-impact marketing copy across various formats and touchpoints (e.g., campaign messaging, landing pages, social media, ads, event and trade fair messaging, video scripts, presentations)
- Develop and shape activation, campaign, editorial and content concepts together with design, marketing and business stakeholders – turning strategy into strong narratives, content frameworks and execution-ready deliverables
- Translate Schaeffler’s brand strategy into brand messages and content principles/ guidelines: help shape and evolve our brand tonality, narrative, terminology and messaging architecture, and support adoption across the organization
- Ensure consistency, quality and scalability of copy in line with our brand messages and standards, and act as a hands-on quality gate for key deliverables and content outputs across channels, touchpoints and markets
- Partner closely with stakeholders across divisions and regions to ensure content supports the marketing strategy, stakeholder needs, and content priorities, and is adapted appropriately for local market and cultural specifics
- Brief, steer and review external agencies to ensure high-quality, on-brand outcomes – from concept to final copy and ensure efficient integration of agency work into internal content processes
- Use modern tools and AI-supported workflows for ideation, drafting, variant creation and adaptation – always with strong editorial judgment, quality control and responsible use
- Support content planning and prioritization across campaigns, launches, and always-on content marketing
- Enable internal stakeholders by providing copy guidance, templates, and editorial advice
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Journalism, Media/Communication Studies, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in marketing copywriting, brand writing, content strategy, or concept development (in-house and/or agency)
- Strong track record of developing campaign-ready messaging and content frameworks: from insight and concept to headlines, executive messaging, long-form copy and microcopy
- Proven ability to turn complex, technical topics into simple, engaging and audience-relevant marketing narratives
- Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills; confident collaborating with senior management, and cross-functional teams globally
- Strong sense for brand consistency when working on brand messages, tonality, editorial governance and terminology frameworks
- Skilled in collaborating with design teams to craft copy that works in layouts and across touchpoints (headline hierarchy, CTA logic, clarity, length)
- Hands-on experience with AI-supported workflows (e.g., ideation, outlining, drafting, variant generation, adaptation and repurposing), with a strong focus on quality and responsible use
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Expert in MS Office 365 (especially PowerPoint) and collaboration tools in a global corporate environment; Experience with content creation (e.g., with Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma), content management and (cloud-based) collaboration workflows is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of CMS/DAM systems and content operations, incl. workflows for briefing, review, approvals, versioning, and publishing
