Required Education & Experience
-Studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a relevant degree with a standard duration of up to 4 years
-Well-founded knowledge and proven experience in the automotive area, several years of professional experience in product development & design
-Experience in the field of transmission applications / gear sets / meshing /Mechatronics (DCT / Wet clutch)
-Experience in testing & validation
-Well-founded leadership experience and assertiveness – Specific knowledge in leadership, negotiation techniques, conflict management, moderation & intercultural behavioral knowledge
-High customer orientation as well as result and goal orientation
-Dynamic, flexible, resilient, assertive and a high degree of creativity
-Independent, analytical, structural way of working and communication skills as well as enthusiasm and persuasiveness
-Comprehensive additional technical qualifications such as:
Deep knowledge of automotive technology, ideally in the field of transmission technology / drive technology
Knowledge of the formal process in system development and the PEP product development process
Methodological knowledge (FMEA, TRIZ, brainstorming, value analysis)
Knowledge of product liability and warranty in product development
Knowledge of working with PLM software (Windchill, Integrity)

-Coordination of a development team in the field of (electrical) axle systems
-Responsibility for the timely planning, implementation and documentation of development-related tasks in the project team
-Professional coordination of customer inquiries and offers
-Interface to the customer, technical reporting internally and externally
-Ensuring the production and assembly-ready overall design and creation of installation space and assembly concepts
-Coordination of the elaboration of development solutions, taking functional and design aspects into account
-Coordination of components and independent management of design reviews
-Deriving possible optimization measures from calculation and test results - controlling the product design and development in the project
-Monitoring of the DVP and its comparison with the project plan
-Support in the creation of component specifications and design methods
-Support assessment of return parts in the prototype stage and series
-Support of quality assurance in the analysis of defects
-Independent development of lessons learned and completion of projects
-Business trips to customers / suppliers in Germany and abroad
-Representation of colleagues in the team
-Support with product strategy, benchmark and business development for the global
