Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build and keep good relationship with customer
  • Discuss with customer for quotation, technical and commercial contract..
  • Regularly report to direct manager about business status and news.
  • Be responsible for the acquisition of new business with the Team in the region (or country)
  • Develop a customer strategy for business development
  • Negotiate price by agreement with the GKAM together with Sales
  • Ensure transparency concerning the customer's target prices and competitors' prices
  • Together with Sales, check incoming RFQs for completeness and plausibility
  • Be responsible for following up quotations given to the Team
  • Coordinate in-house exhibitions and presentations, top management events and meetings
  • Observe technological trends and requirements and the activities of the competition
  • Identify and records the KF customer requirements
  • Carry out the sales planning with regard to the Team in the region
  • Execute and coordinate cost reduction measures with regard to products for the Team
  • Carry out the performance review of Schaeffler with the Team
  • Together with Sales/GKAM, settle warranty claims and review commercial aspects
  • Take the overall responsibilities for handling of customer specific requirement(CSR) according to the procedure P170202
  • Escalate delayed deliveries, bottlenecks, DOH, etc.
  • Perform all the activities of a GKAM if there is no GKAM in place

Your Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally with a technical background (e.g. mechanical/electrical engineering, business administration and engineering)
  • Highly developed understanding of business processes
  • Worked as key account manager for 3 years or longer in the fields of market sales or mechanical manufacturing.
  • Experience in working in a multi-national team is a plus
  • Strong sales personality
  • Strong business English skills, confident using the language.
  • Willingness to travel

  • Associates degree in Engineering, Mechanics or Electrics
  • 5 to 10 years
