Your Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end process of determining preferential and non-preferential origin for purchased and manufactured materials and products.
- Collecting, validating, requesting and maintaining supplier declarations and other origin-related documentation required for purchased materials.
- Performing preferential origin calculations in accordance with applicable European Union Free Trade Agreements and their rules of origin.
- Analyzing Bills of Materials, manufacturing processes and relevant product data to determine preferential origin.
- Determining non-preferential origin on a case-by-case basis by analyzing Bills of Materials, manufacturing processes and other relevant information.
- Issuing, maintaining and monitoring origin-related documentation for customers in compliance with applicable customs requirements.
- Requesting, checking and maintaining preferential supplier declarations via SAP-GTS.
- Maintaining foreign trade and origin-related data in customer portals, SAP-ERP and SAP-GTS.
- Analyzing preferential calculation results and initiating measures to improve the preferential status of products.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Customs, Sales and other relevant stakeholders to collect and validate the information required for origin determination.
- Supporting external suppliers and customers with origin-related requests via email and telephone.
- Implementing and reporting measures aimed at preventing errors and improving data quality.
- Creating, updating and maintaining process documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring changes in applicable Free Trade Agreements, rules of origin and customs requirements and assessing their impact on business processes.
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in International Business, International Trade, Customs, International Finance or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in customs, international trade, origin determination or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of preferential and non-preferential origin determination would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of European Union Free Trade Agreements and applicable rules of origin.
- Experience in analyzing Bills of Materials and manufacturing processes would be an advantage.
- Experience with supplier declarations and other origin-related documentation.
- Excellent IT skills, including SAP-ERP and Microsoft Office; practical experience with SAP-GTS is mandatory.
- Experience with MIC-OCS and MIC-CCS would be an advantage.
- Very good command of Polish, minimum B2 level.
- Very good command of English, minimum B2 level.
- Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and communicate significant amounts of information accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of German language would be an advantage.
