Manager Global Payroll & Time Management Processes, Systems and Implementation (d/f/m)

About the role

Schaeffler is establishing a new Global Payroll and Time Management Governance team within the department HR Digitalization & Operations. The team will provide global governance, standards, controls, reporting, vendor management, and transformation leadership for Payroll and Time Management across the Schaeffler Group.

You will define and manage the global process, IT systems, and implementation project for Payroll and Time Management. The role translates business, legal, and operational requirements into harmonized processes, functional designs, system requirements, implementation plans, and sustainable operating solutions.

This role works in close partnership with the Global Payroll & Time Management Processes, Systems and Implementation Manager. Together, you will ensure that governance, control, and compliance requirements are translated into harmonized processes, effective system solutions, and sustainable implementation outcomes across the Schaeffler Group.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defining and advancing the global process model for Payroll and Time Management
• Standardize processes for payroll inputs, approvals, payroll runs, post-payroll activities, working time, attendance, absences, overtime, shift models, and time-data validation
• Define and manage functional requirements for SAP HCM Payroll, SAP HCM Time Management, and related solutions and interfaces
• Coordinate requirements for data quality, interface monitoring, error handling, data security, testing, and release management
• Lead the functional implementation of the Time Management Target Operating Model and support the implementation of the preferred outsourced payroll vendor concept
• Coordinate requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, configuration support, data migration, testing, defect management, cutover, deployment, and stabilization
• Work closely with IT, Data Protection, Finance, regional and local units, and external providers to ensure successful global implementation

Your Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive relevant professional experience in HR process design, HRIS, Payroll, Time Management, systems implementation, or HR transformation
• Strong experience with global or multi-country payroll and time management processes as well as process harmonization, requirements management, fit-gap analysis, testing, migration, implementation and stabilization
• Solid functional knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll, SAP HCM Time Management, or comparable HRIS solutions, as well as interfaces, data models, reporting, and data qualit
• Fluent business English
• Structured, analytical and execution-oriented working style combined with strong communication, change-management and stakeholder-management skills
