Your Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis

  • Organize and lead the regional business strategy process; act as a consultant and partner to ensure growth and profitability.
  • Identify unique characteristics and needs of the JSEAP market (customers, regulations, trends, competitors).
  • Research and analyze market information to identify business development opportunities and address potential risks.
  • Create future market scenarios and propose strategic responses for long-term profitability and positioning.
  • Contribute to defining strategic objectives, planning guidelines, and organizational development plans aligned with corporate goals.
  • Ensure consistency between strategy and sales activities.
  • Act as an interface to the global organization to align regional and global strategies.

2. Business Development & Execution

  • Support development and execution of business strategies and initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders; collaborate to initiate business development activities.
  • Manage and coordinate implementation of agreed action plans for successful project execution.
  • Build and maintain networks with market partners and stakeholders to support business growth according to milestones.

3. Sales Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and analyze SODA (Sales Opportunities Database Automotive) and sales forecasts.
  • Create and deliver sales figure reports for management.
  • Monitor JOEMs promotion status and provide updates.
  • Conduct won/lost analysis and assess impact on sales strategy.

4. Media & Exhibition Support

  • Align media exposure strategy between E-Mobility and COBRA.
  • Support media interviews related to E-Mobility in collaboration with COBRA.
  • Lead exhibition preparation (e.g., JSAE) with other divisions and COBRA.

    Education & Experience

    • Academic Background: University degree, preferably in business management, or equivalent experience in business development or sales roles.
    • Process Orientation: Strong adherence to structured processes and organizational standards.
    • International Exposure: Willingness to travel and work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.

This position requires fluent language skill in both English and Japanese. The position is required to locate in Japan. (Mainly Yokohama)
