Your Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting a team of 10+ professionals, ensuring motivation and goal clarity
- Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining employees for optimal team performance
- Maintaining operational excellence, meeting KPIs and targets in the European region
- Conducting comprehensive audits, managing risks, and ensuring financial compliance
- Analyzing accounting documentation, prepararing reports, and communicating results to management
- Keeping abreast of industry regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Coordinating and documenting internal control activities, acting as a liaison with auditors
- Verifying and defining risks, ensuring the implementation of correct controls
- Supporting and coordinating the implementation of national companies within the European region
- Providing operational support to selected companies in defined processes
- Training new employees on various topics such as ICS, RMS, GS/LS
- Preparing and presenting risk development reports to the CFO Europe
- Coordinating and implementing ICS and RMS training programs in the Europe region
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting or auditing, with at least 2 years of leadership experience for external candidates
- Fluency in both German and English, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency
- Very good command of the Polish language (min. B1 level)
- Knowledge of audit theories, principles, and practices, along with accounting policies under HGB and IFRS
- Familiar with SAP and advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a sound understanding of complex economic processes
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in teams
- Open to continuous improvement, with a proactive and dynamic approach
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Experience in supporting process transitions and willingness for international travel activities
- Open to occasionally international business travels
