Junior Jira & Confluence Administrator (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Providing support to end-users for System Engineering tools, including troubleshooting and resolution of incidents
• Clarification and review of requirements and specifications to understand software engineering requirements
• Working within L2 and L3 Service Requests, both internally and with vendors, including support calls and escalations
• Analysis and test new system configurations
• User accounts and projects administration
• Evaluating user change requests against the current system configuration
• Testing and releasing of new product versions and addons/tools
• Coordinating activities with supportive teams
• Ensuring proper coding in cooperation with other team members and performing bug verification and testing
• Ensuring that proper documentation is updated
• Maintaining and expanding the knowledge database and create/update user documentation and knowledge base articles

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in mechanical Engineering & IT or related field, or comparable qualifications with corresponding practical experience 
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (min. B2 level) 
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux (Red hat 8) operating systems
• Strong understanding of Jira DC (Software & Service Management) and Confluence DC administration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Jira database structure (MSSQL - Azure)
• Capability to manage Data Center infrastructure and to analyze scripts: Groovy (Scriptrunner), Bash, Python
• Familiarity with popular plugins for Jira and Confluence, e.g. Script Runner, Big Picture, SAML SSO, eazyBI, Xray etc.
• Experience in the use or support of Engineering solutions and in creating documentation and training materials for end-users
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team  - Creative when solving problems or creating new solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills
