Junior Customs Specialist - Proof of Export (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, handling, and improving the Export Declarations process within the EU Schaeffler Group
- Coordinating with key interfaces such as Sales, carriers, shipping agencies, and other stakeholders
- Taking care of Direct and Premium Shipments requests for customs purposes
- Supporting projects and roll-outs throughout all stages
- Contributing to continuous process optimization initiatives
- Documenting corrective actions and tracking follow-up activities
- Supporting preferences, origin-related topics, and strategic tasks/projects within the Corporate Customs Team
- Providing user training and 1st-level support
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies or pursuing a degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable specialization
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Knowledge of transport processes and transport administration preferred
- Very good command of the English language (min. B2 level)
- SAP knowledge preferred, especially modules SD, MM, and BW
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of databases, e.g. Access or SQL, is an advantage
- Skills in VBA development are an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speakin
