Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant with German (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Processing full cycle of cash allocation, cash management, credit management and AR master data management
• Maintaining credit limits for each customer in the system complying with Credit Insurance company and Bank Guarantees
• Applying and checking credit limits
• Reviewing & releasing daily delivery blocks
• Daily monitoring of payments
• Collection of all outstanding items due on assigned accounts
• Dispute management - differentiation and discrepancies
• Preparing a variety of credit and collection documentation
• Other receivables activities such as invoices/credit notes check, recharges, collections calls, dunning preparation
• Reconciliation and analyses of account balances during month end process
• Interaction with customers regarding Accounts Receivable financial documents
• Support internal control testing and preparation of relevant documentation
• Support the transition of local AR processes to the service center

Your Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics or business administration would be an advantage
• First professional experience in finance area, preferably in AR and/or Shared Service Center environment would be an advantage
• German language skills on B2 level
• Good English language skills
• Knowledge and experience in MS Office usage (especially MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience in usage of ERP systems (i.e. SAP) would be an advantage
• Willingness to become familiar with new tools
• Organizational talent with strong skills in communication, multitasking and customer orientation
• Open for change and dynamic working environment
• Able to work independently and with solution oriented can-do approach
• Focused on high quality and continuous improvement
