About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and business-focused Group IT SCS Product Owner to fully manage and further develop the Linear Motion IT ERP and application landscape together with the assigned product team. This role will support and drive the ongoing integration of the Business Division Linear Motion into Schaeffler from an IT Application and Infor M3 ERP perspective. You will manage the global Product team and related budget, ensure cost-effective service delivery and develop a clear long-term strategy for ERP and application process integration aligned with business needs. As a functional leader, you will partner closely with the Business Division Linear Motion to ensure ERP and application services meet strategic and operational Business objectives. 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Functional leading, envision, and further development a distributed team of IT Application and IT related Business Process Experts of 9 professionals across two locations (Sweden and Poland)
  • Acting as the primary interface between Group IT SCS and the Business Division Linear Motion, understanding and translating business needs into IT related priorities
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure consistent and high-quality service as well as project delivery
  • Holistical managing of the IT budget for the owned IT Product, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control
  • Overlook entire service and project portfolio, all incoming demands and develop team capabilities, capacities, skills and expertise accordingly
  • Providing regular, transparent reporting on service / project maturity, quality metrics, team performance, and budget utilization to senior management
  • Driving adoption of IT operational best practices used in Schaeffler GrIT including ITIL and agile methodologies
  • Defining, implementing and continuously improving quality management processes for ERP operations, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or comparable qualifications with corresponding practical experience  
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT or ERP operations, with at least 3 years in leadership roles managing multi-location teams
  • Professional experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts
  • Familiarity with ITIL, change management, and service quality standards
  • Knowledge of Infor M3 in considered as an asset
  • Fluency in both English and Polish, with a minimum of C1 level proficiency
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and retain talent
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with proven experience managing IT budgets and optimizing resource allocation
  • Strong skills in strategic planning
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy  within complex organizational environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage effectively with business and technical audiences
