IT People & Competence Manager (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supporting employee growth by advising and guiding on personal development
• Conducting staff interviews to provide career direction
• Analyzing current skill gaps in coordination with relevant Product Owners and development teams
• Examining strategic trends, essential qualifications, and succession planning to ensure the availability of necessary skills both short and long term, considering capacity and location needs
• Establishing, communicating, and monitoring the achievement of goals for each individual and the team as a whole
• Supporting development teams in building a "T-shaped" skill set, determining which skills to develop internally and which to source externally, based on area-specific options
• Improving team performance and learning ability by removing obstacles and facilitating effective solutions
• Planning and controlling personnel costs
• Monitoring employee time accounts, managing work schedules, ensuring accurate reporting of hours, and supporting vacation and absence planning
• Hiring new employees in coordination with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Dev Team
• Making informed salary decisions based on team feedback
• Representing the team in labor law matters
• Supporting a smooth transition process for new employees

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in business administration, ideally with a specialization in IT, human resources management or related field, or comparable qualifications with corresponding practical experience 
• Demonstrated leadership experience in management or leadership roles, showing the ability to lead teams and projects
• Experience in IT SAP environment is required 
• Experience in IT environment would be an asset
• Very good command of the Polish language (min. B2 level)  
• Very good command of the English language (min. B2 level)  
• Knowledge of German is a plus
• Experience with managing and facilitating change within an organization
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders
• Experience in developing and introducing shared service organizations or similar structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of the organization
