Accounts Payable Team Leader (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Taking initiative and responsibility for positive results of defined accounting performance and cost targets  
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles to facilitate audit requirements mandatory and EHS, quality management, lCS and Business Conduct policies and guidelines
• Managing of optimization of working schedules, procedures and tool settings to enable appropriate reporting of financial data
• Coordinating work schedules including securing proper back-up structure and desktop procedures being up to date
• Managing AP Team in order to provide daily work support to team members and on-the-job-training for new team members
• Managing incidents resolution
• Recruiting, onboarding and managing employees, playing a key role as mentor in the career planning including succession and talent management
• Building and maintaining a trusting and feedback-welcoming environment
• Coordinating of the pre-onboarding activities and onboarding of new team members 
• Ensuring operational processes governed by KPIs and agreed on targets
• Being the first point of contact in case of internal and external audits, maintaining audit documentation for internal and external audit purposes
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements, robotics implementation and supporting process re-design initiatives to improve productivity
• Managing communication with the entities and addressing issues raised by the entities (stakeholder support and management)

Your Qualifications

• Degree in economics or business administration with a major in accounting
• Very good English skills (min. B2), knowledge of German will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and experience in MS Office usage (especially MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience in usage of SAP FI/CO
• Good organizational and coordination skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in teams, under pressure and within all deadlines
• Openness for continuous improvement (willing to address innovative ideas, open to feedback)
• Strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and time management skills, customer orientation with the ability to set proper priorities
• People Leader with strong communication skills with a proven track of building up teams
• Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders’ environment
• Strongly analytical, process improvement and conceptual mindset with a technical understanding 
• Experienced in change management and process transformation
