Accountant Specialist (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• GL accounting and supervision over all accounting matters for assigned Schaeffler entity in Poland
• Coordination and participation in monthly and yearly closing
• Financial reporting to headquarter according to Schaeffler guidelines
• Running of tax matters for assigned entity
• Support in preparing local financial statement
• Statutory reporting (e.g. statistical office, NBP)
• Cooperation with other departments, support in preparing and analysing of financial data

Your Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance
• Several years of experience in accounting, preferably 2-3 years of experience on senior position in multinational company
• Good knowledge of local GAAP and tax regulations
• Experience with IFRS reporting will be an asset
• Good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of SAP will be an asset
• Very good knowledge of Polish and good knowledge of English (German as an adventage)
• Problem solving approach and ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Ability to plan and organize work with tight deadlines
