Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts all activities required for validation & verification (V&V), for products and contained system, mechanical, electrics/electronics or software elements as assigned.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation verification and validation activities in accordance with given standards (including testing of virtual or physical objects, static analysis, simulation).
  • Contributes to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners (e.g., system, electrics/electronics- or software development), providers of equipment and tools (e.g., test rigs, test environment for model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, processor-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop tests), or customers.
  • Applies given verification or validation processes (e.g., International Software Testing Qualifications Board Foundation Level).

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 1 or more years of practical experience.
  • Knowledge of electric motor design.
  • Experience in risk analysis and design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA).
  • Electric drive knowledge.
  • Experience in programming and development in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle drivetrain theory.
  • Knowledge of controller area network (CAN) communication.
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
  • Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer
  • Understanding of modelling and simulating of mechanical, electric, or mechatronic development.

Our Offering

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
  • Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
