Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensures assessment and initial approval of suppliers, with reference on quality and technology (on global and regional level) and guides local SQE respectively, with the aim of avoiding production disruptions.
- Develops and/or implements qualitative and technology-specific supplier strategy in cooperation with dedicated Category Management Professional.
- Plans, implements and follows up on initial assessments for evaluation and approval of potential suppliers.
- Plans, executes and follows up on monitoring assessments, prepares quality indicators, initiates and prosecutes measures, which may include implementation of decent supplier development programs.
- Executes task force missions for escalated problems with suppliers, i.e. improving quality planning process, negotiating of quality-relevant supplier documents, on global or regional level.
- Executes training and qualification of the SQE organization, and provides internal advice regarding production technologies in the assigned commodity.
Your Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or equivalent
- Automotive manufacturing experience/ TS/ISO/AIAG Quality System knowledge and experience
- Quality System Assessment trained
- SAP knowledge and experience
- Experienced in working with cross-functional teams/Excellent PC skills
