Your Key Responsibilities
- Specialist-Concept Development in the Schaeffler Special Machinery (SMB) Technical Sales Department in Wooster, Ohio.
- Concept, cost estimates and develop manufacturing equipment and automaton for the Schaeffler Production System.
- Define processes for the development of innovative solutions and future demand.
- Knowledge of systems integration strategies, concepts, and techniques
- Experience with design of custom equipment for manufacturing including assembly, inspection, process control, etc.
- Software experience with PTC Creo, AutoCAD, SAP, MS Office, etc.
- Generates sales opportunities, designs technical solutions (machine and production concepts) and ensures realization of the project according to customers needs for assigned customers in a market segment.
- Check and analyze customer requests, from technical as well as commercial aspects.
- Consult with clients on technical solutions and eventually design fully fledged technical concepts according to the requirements.
- Prepare and conduct discussions with customer in terms of product specifications, project targets, milestones, pricing, and other commercial conditions.
- Support project management role in realizing the solution as agreed, in cooperation with customers and internal departments involved.
- Collect, evaluate and report information about market trends, competitors and business opportunities.
Your Qualifications
- Bachler's degree in Engineering
- 0-3 years experience, May 2024 graduates will be considered
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
