Your Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sub-project management for all topics related to quality leading up to series production launch.
  • Quality contact to the customer and project team. Responsible for support of customer advanced product quality planning (APQP) process leading up to successful launch.
  • Summarize customer requirements in terms of quality and communicate to project team. Responsible for quality reporting within the project team and the business division/business unit/product line management.
  • Creation of prototype control plan, pre-series control plan and series control plan, as well as support in the creation of the test plan.
  • Measurement technology - coordination of product-specific measurement strategies in the early project phases and participation in the standardization of product-specific measurement processes.
  • Support, preparation and tracking of quality-relevant topics in the context of project-specific or system-specific audits, reviews, or assessments (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination (ASPICE), functional safety, etc.).

Your Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5 or more years of practical experience or a Master's degree in engineering and 2 or more years of practical experience.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) manuals (Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Quality System Assessment (QSA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)) and related industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Goal and results oriented.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Superior knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 and/or AS910.
  • Strong project management skills.

Our Offering

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
  • Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
