Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electric motor mechanical design engineering activities required to develop competitive products.
- Develop the structure of the electric motor mechanical system from the architecture and consider the measures from the risk analysis in the construction.
- Break down electric motor structures into subsystems and components and create a detailed product specification.
- Check whether existing electric motor subsystems and components can be reused.
- Develop alternative structures and select the one that is most suitable.
- Ensure double-sided traceability with the electric motor mechanical architecture and provide work results under a configuration management (material designation, versioning, storage location, etc.).
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5 or more years of practical experience or a Masters degree in engineering and 2 or more years of practical experience.
- Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
- Experience in solving engineering problems.
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
- Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
- Communication ability (written & verbal).
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
Our Offering
- Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
- Hybrid work schedule
- Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
