Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and set framework conditions for programming and editing, calculate and define key features.
- Create geometry data for complex work pieces using drawings or engineering specifications.
- Perform CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) tasks related to NC programming, including description of geometry and technology, creation of tool plans and definition of machining process sequences.
- Design, optimize, and test-run functionality of respective programs, and define order sequences, machining tools and cutting data.
- Set up the CNC machining centers, and support Operators on CNC machines to operate/parametrize the programs effectively.
- Perform manufacturing processes according to process plan.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues
- Document required data per control plan and quality database.
Your Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or High school Diploma with demonstrated experience
- Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience with print reading and geometric tolerances
