Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support supplier discussions for supplied parts and work with internal teams for assembly and make components.
  • Conduct Analysis Design Verification Plan and Report (ADVP&R) and requirements management where relevant.
  • Conduct mechanical design engineering activities for battery pack projects.
  • Develop the structure of the mechanical system from the architecture and consider the measures from the risk analysis in the construction.
  • Break down structures into subsystems and components, create a detailed product specification, and check whether existing subsystems and components can be reused.
  • Ensure double-sided traceability with the mechanical architecture and provide work results under a configuration management (material designation, versioning, storage location, etc.).

Your Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering related field and 1 year of applicable experience.
  • Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the Product Development Process.
  • Communication ability (written & verbal).
  • Self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
  • Continuous improvement approach.
  • Assertive approach to solving problems.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Automotive knowledge or background.

Our Offering

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
  • Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
