Your Key Responsibilities

We’re seeking a passionate and results-driven Logistics Process Optimization Specialist to propel our production efficiency to new heights. If you excel in identifying opportunities for improvement and applying strategic engineering processes, we welcome your expertise to optimize our supply chain and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements in the Schaeffler production system to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement innovative strategies for boosting manufacturing and support processes.
  • Identify and recommend optimization opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct thorough supply chain research to guide policy-making and budget planning.
  • Apply advanced engineering processes to influence strategic decisions.
  • Contribute your technical expertise to core engineering and logistics strategies.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional meetings, enhancing logistics and production synergies.
  • Analyze logistics capacity to ensure proper storage solutions and equipment utilization.
  • Refine logistics processes and streamline material flow within production and warehousing.
  • Design and implement layout adjustments to align with evolving business needs.
  • Formulate forward-thinking supply chain strategies with the logistics and purchasing teams.
  • Develop comprehensive logistics project documentation.
  • Ensure ergonomic compliance for packaging standards.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs, enabling data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Meet and exceed targets concerning cost efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and timelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering processes and logistics optimization.
  • Experience in supply chain management and process engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive results.

Your Qualifications

  •  
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Experience with the SAP MRP system.
  • In-depth understanding of Lean Principles such as Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, FIFO, etc.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
