Your Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates system architectures to select the best alternative to meet stakeholder and system requirements.
- Contributes to the development and management of system requirements based on the stakeholder requirements.
- Contributes to the development of a technical solution which meets the requirements and complies with the state-of-the-art based on domain standards (incl. analysis, evaluation and mitigation of design risks).
- Contributes to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners for system elements (e.g. E/E, software, sub-systems, components), with production (e.g. special characteristics or producibility aspects), with customers regarding system aspects, with verification and validation at the system level or with other relevant functions.
- Applies given system development processes.
Your Qualifications
Technical
- Degree in electrical, mechatronics, aerospace or mechanical engineering. Candidates with a background of physics will also be considered.
- Advanced engineering & physics knowledge
- Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry
- Experience in the development and design of electric or hybrid drives in the automotive industry
- Good knowledge of systems engineering (ISO / IEC 15288) for mechatronic products, especially in the areas Requirements Engineering and Systems Architecture
- Experience in dealing with requirements management tools, e.g. PTC Integrity and architecture tools, such as Enterprise Architect or PTC Integrity Modeler
- Strong ability to capture complex systems and ability for systematic analysis and decomposition of functions into component behavior
Interpersonal:
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Advanced presentation skills
- Analytical, independent and self-responsible way of working
- Team and communication skills as well as knowledge of moderation and creativity techniques
- Fluent in English. German or Spanish language skills are an advantage
