Your Key Responsibilities
- Optimization of existing packaging concepts for purchased and inhouse manufactured parts.
- Calculation of packaging and packaging service costs across the entire supply chain.
- Creation of packaging proposals and documentation based on customer requirements.
- Technical/ economical evaluation of packaging offers and procurement.
- Planning and execution of tests, checking and release of packaging samples and packaging systems in cooperation with suppliers and internal customers.
- Creation and maintenance of packing instructions in SAP and subsystem.
- Collaboration in acquisition, PEP, CIP and industrialization projects Support our global Schaeffler packaging network.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Packaging Engineering or an engineering related field
- Experience in the field of automotive packaging
- Confident communication with external packaging suppliers
