Your Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and selecting electric machine architectures and topologies on thermal and electromagnetic characteristics
  • Designing E-Motors based on targeted cost and manufacturing processes
  • Applying electromagnetic physics principles to E-Motor design
  • Modelling vibration characteristics of motors
  • Applying advanced knowledge of E-Motor controls and measurements to simulate and correlate designs
  • Communicating results and recommendations verbally and in reports

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Applicable engineering & physics knowledge
  • Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer
  • Experience in risk analysis and DFMEA
  • Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components
  • Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions
  • Experience in solving engineering problems
