Your Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating and selecting electric machine architectures and topologies on thermal and electromagnetic characteristics
- Designing E-Motors based on targeted cost and manufacturing processes
- Applying electromagnetic physics principles to E-Motor design
- Modelling vibration characteristics of motors
- Applying advanced knowledge of E-Motor controls and measurements to simulate and correlate designs
- Communicating results and recommendations verbally and in reports
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge
- Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer
- Experience in risk analysis and DFMEA
- Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components
- Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions
- Experience in solving engineering problems
