Planner - Production

Your Key Responsibilities
- Control the ordering processes and bookings, in order to ensure manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the order freeze.
- Check whether production orders are correctly booked and if order is in accordance with current delivery.
- Overview the costs of an order in terms of quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure materials availability.
- Generate and analyze production performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Refine sequencing on machines on shift basis.
Your Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associate’s degree, or a high school diploma with proven relevant experience
- Experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment, utilizing scheduling reports to ensure on-time shipments
- Solid understanding of manufacturing routings, bills of materials (BOM), and QS/TS 9000 requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications, including mainframe systems, PC-based software, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of plant operations; capable of understanding and adapting manufacturing procedures and timelines
- Able to lift moderately heavy items as required
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in business or similar
- Multiple years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
- SAP knowledge
