Job Location

Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist the warranty supervisor in the checking of automotive components i.e. unpacking, sorting, physical inspection and the production of Warranty Return reports of customer rejected products.
- Report writing.
- Maintaining relevant spreadsheets and/or databases.
- Picking and returning rejected claims to Factors.
- Reject any components which do not meet warranty terms and conditions specified by the company.
- With the aid of test and measuring inspection tools and equipment e.g. Micrometers, Verniers, bespoke test equipment, undertake the physical inspection of components.
- Responsibility for the general maintenance of the facility and any equipment.
- Ensure housekeeping within your area is maintained to the standard set by the company.
- Partake in any Quality Circle meetings or continuous improvement activities e.g. ‘Move’.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks associated to the position of QAT.
- Populate SAP as required for each claim i.e. Q notes.
- Be first line in identifying trends or unusual failures that should be addressed by the quality department or product management with cataloguing issues.
Your Qualifications
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate proactive team-working skills.
- Good computer skills including MS excel, access, word and Teams.
- Knowledge and experience of automotive components.
- Mechanical or engineering background or experience desirable.
