Plant Manager - Regional Distribution Center Eastern Europe & Kitting Facility (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operational ramp-up and organizational development of our new Regional Distribution Center and Kitting Facility in Southern Poland after completing an initial training period in Germany.
• Oversee strategic and operational management of the site, carrying both functional and disciplinary responsibilities.
• Secure and develop Operational Excellence by ensuring on-time production and deliveries, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
• Serve as a key interface between VLS and logistics service providers, focusing on capacity planning, setting priorities, and managing contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements, including occupational safety, fire, and environmental protection standards.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and efficiency gains.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in operations or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally with expertise in collaborating with logistics service providers.
• Experience in lean management tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems.
• Fluency in Polish and English is required.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and business acumen, along with a collaborative team spirit, analytical mindset, and target-oriented approach.
