Your Key Responsibilities

• Support product development via testing for local business as part of DVP.
• Support in validating product due to change in material grade, supply source or as desired from local plants.
• Perform customer specific tests. 
• Design and develop tooling and fixtures in CAD tools (Creo) for test rigs, meeting functional and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams,test engineers and application engineering teams to understand requirements and propose tool design concepts for proposing products industrial applications (e.g., machinery, railway, raw materials etc). 
• Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, documentations and coordinate with purchase teams for supplier identification, development and acquisition of tooling. 
• Work with suppliers and internal teams for rig adaptations manufacturing and assembly, while optimizing existing designs for cost, durability and ease of use.
• Maintain required spares & consumables to perform test by advance planning & ensure uninterrupted test rig operations. 
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines, and implement lessons learned and best practices. 
• Collaborate with global testing, tooling and calibration teams and local product design, simulation, and maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness. 
• Stay updated on latest technologies in testing, data acquisition, and calibrations, participate in technology conferences, and engage with universities for innovation. 

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent with strong educational track record 
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and material selection
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, heat treatment, casting. welding, assembly). 
• Familiarity with DFMEA, safety standards, and ergonomic design principles. 
• Experience: Proficiency in Creo (mandatory) and 5 to 10 years hands on experience in tooling design and development for test rigs or similar applications for automotive or industrial applications.
