Your Key Responsibilities

• 1. 1. Goal of position (Why was this position created?)

  Lead a department or several teams assigned. Plan, align and/or implement policies, standards and guidelines for principle operations and tactical measures. Set out and manages respective projects, budgets and resources, and ensure effective tools, methods and processes.

Your Qualifications

• Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.)

  Engineering Degree with 10-15 years of experience

  
  
  1. 2. Tasks (Description of main tasks)

  Ensure implementation of approved methods, procedures and tools, manage budgets and resources as

  agreed.

  Define the local processes and production targets, for all segments of the unit.

  Coordinate optimum machine utilization and product scheduling for a number of related segments.

  Direct the development and implementation of production plans, and allocate production resources.

  Manage the segments assigned and lead dedicated Team Leaders and the various production teams and shifts.

  To Act as a Change Coordinator for any 4M change (Man, Machine, Method, Material) related topic

  To Comply & fulfill the requirements of various audits like TS 16949, ISO 14001 and EHS and any internal

  audits.

  To Comply & fulfill the requirements of AAR(Association of American Rail Road ) and IRIS (Internatio nal

  Railway Industry Standard) EHS Points:

  1. Ensure the necessary technical and organizational actions regarding environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention (e.g. guarding fences, drip trays, extinguishing systems, etc.) and prepare and maintain the relevant documentation
  2. Correct all short comings regarding environmental protection, occupationa! health and safety and fire prevention, that cannot be corrected by the team leader (e.g. replacement or repair of unsafe working equipment)       and report timely those resources, that are needed for additional, necessary corrective actions, e.g. technical changes to save energy or ensure machine safety (interlock switches, etc.) timely to the direct manager
  3. Ensure the compliance with legal requirements of EHS issues that are relevant for their departnJents
  4. 0 rganize, prepare and maintain risk assessments
  5. Report accidents and incidents with relevance for environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention to the respective departments and the direct manager
  6. Ensure the implementation of the tasks delegated to the team leaders
  7. Cooperate in the continuous improvement regarding environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention
