Your Key Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of regional purchasing strategy in the assigned 
• category / categories and agreement with the relevant specialist area and contact  partner in the regions.  
• Drive the execution of market intelligence studies and ensure the ideal balance of Competition and Pooling through e.g. supplier reduction and implementation of strategic 
• suppliers to achieve a maximum cost reduction contribution and best possible synergy effects. 
• Identify, develop and promote Global and Regional Strategic Suppliers based on  purchasing requirements. 
• Conduct strategic supplier meetings to realize further benefits toward service level and  customer expectations. 
• Manage and develop Price and Framework Agreements in legal, logistical, commercial and technical terms in close alignment with stakeholders, and steer the implementation. 
• Support global sourcing projects as well as Lead and initiate tenders for regional projects in cooperation with the respective stakeholders. 
• Track and drive results of relevant KPI´s for responsible cluster(s) according the global target and KPI settings. 
• Regional planning and tracking of budgetary prerequisites and development of purchasing cost in agreement with the relevant specialist areas and regional / local contact partner.  
• Identification, initiation and promotion of potential savings and improvements (e.g. 
  initiation of make or buy analyses) as well as responsibility for the up-to-datedness of project data in the purchasing reporting system  
  Monitoring of project implementation and initiation of countermeasures if the project target is jeopardized.  
  Risk Management and task force / troubleshooting with QCD issues for all suppliers assigned as part of supplier management assignment. 
  Ensuring the publication of concluded prices, conditions and contracts for the supplier that are negotiated according to the SMA. 

Your Qualifications

• Education/ Apprenticeship: Bachelor of Engineering  
  Job experience: 8-10 Years 
  Languages skills: Hindi, English 
  Knowledge of SAP / PC: Must  
  Technical knowledge: Ability to handle purchase activities of assigned commodity. 
  Knowledge of market cost drivers and ability to reduce cost in co-operation with user 
  department by discovering cost saving projects.  
  Additional necessary knowledge or experiences: Negotiation, Leadership, 
  Communication, ability to work in multi-cultural environment
