Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications.

  • Manage and track the timelines associated with patent filings and office actions.

  • Conduct patent searches and gather relevant information to support patent strategies and filings.

  • Maintain organized records and databases of patent documents and correspondence.

  • Coordinate with attorneys, inventors, and external agencies to ensure timely submission of necessary materials.

  • Review and manage patent annuities, maintenance fees, and renewals to ensure compliance.

  • Provide support in patent litigation and enforcement activities.

  • Assist in the drafting and editing of IP-related documents, including licensing agreements and assignments.

Your Qualifications

  • A certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience in an IP legal setting.

  • Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on intellectual property and patents.

  • Familiarity with patent application processes and procedures.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  •  Proficiency in managing electronic databases and patent tracking software.

  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
