Your Key Responsibilities

    <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Contribute to the development and management of system requirements based on the stakeholder requirements. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Contribute to the development of a technical solution which meets the requirements and complies with the state-of-the-art based on domain standards (incl. analyses, evaluation and mitigation of design risks). <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Contribute to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners for system elements (e.g. E/E, software, sub-systems, components), with production (e.g. special characteristics or producibility aspects), with customers regarding system aspects, with verification and validation at the system level or with other relevant functions. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">System Development: Contribute to the general development of new chassis technologies <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Supporting system ideation, concept selection, and optimization with a focus on controls and functional performance. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Requirement Management: Break down system-level requirements to software-level and ensure traceability to system features. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Software Planning: Support estimation of development efforts for project quoting. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Software Project Management: Create and manage a Feature Implementation Plan (FIP) and other general software activities in accordance with meeting project milestones and timing <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">This includes preparation of software deliverables (i.e., protected models, build files, etc.) and creation of relevant documentation (i.e., release documents, customer documents, etc.). <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Software Development: Develop software architecture, and system feature solutions with an emphasis on continuous improvement, safety, performance and securing intellectual property. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Validation: Conduct software validation at component, system, and vehicle levels, ensuring fulfillment of all relevant requirements with an emphasis on quality, safety and performance. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Performance Application: Applicate software features to achieve desired performance at system and vehicle levels. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Software Integration: Integrate basic software, and application software modules, in creating a cohesive software build that delivers system function. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Configuration Management: Manage software configuration (incl. calibration parameters), concerns, and releases. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Proactive Development: Develop features to support system development, proof of concept and performance improvements in anticipation of customer inquiries. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Customer Interaction: Serve as the customer interface for software-related topics and support customer exhibitions and demonstrations. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Demo Support: Support demo-vehicle and HiL/DiL builds, including defintion and procurement of control system hardware, development of HMI solution, preparation of software/feature deliverables and system integration. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Project Management: Organize and lead design reviews to report on projects, problems, proposed solutions, system performance and timing. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Continuous Improvement: Incorporate lessons learned and stakeholder feedback into the development process.

Your Qualifications

    <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and 3 year of experience <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Understanding of vehicle chassis systems and components <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Understanding of mechatronic components and competencies (components: electric machines, micro-processors/controllers, and power stages <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">competencies: controls, system characterization, plant modeling, and signal processing) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Fundamental understanding of functional safety and its application in mechatronic system development (especially from a software perspective) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Knowledge/experience pertaining to software development (requirement management and decomposition, software architectural design, as well as design and implementation of features at the application-level) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Experience in software validation (Software-in-the-Loop, Processor-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop, Driver-in-The-Loop) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Experience in system and vehicle-level testing (virtual and physical) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Practical understanding of vehicle dynamics <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Knowledge/experience pertaining to common automotive communication protocols (i.e., CAN, SENT, etc.) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Experience in solving engineering problems <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Great analytical skills <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Clear communication ability (written & verbal) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Good presentation skills <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Extremely self-motivated and motivated to achieve results <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Continuous improvement approach <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Ability to drive collaboration and development through voicing recommendations, opinions, and decisions <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Experience using Matlab/Simulink <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Working knowledge of dSPACE products and toolchain (i.e. ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Working knowledge of Vector products for CAN debugging, calibration, and measurement (i.e., CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer) <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Candidates must possess valid work authorization to be employed in the United States.
