Your Key Responsibilities

As the Troy Human Resources Co-op you will be responsible for and handle a wide variety of tasks and projects.

 

Recruiting:

 

  • Managing position requests
  • Conducting phone screens
  • Interview scheduling

 

Onboarding:

 

  • Preparing welcome boxes
  • Taking photographs and printing identification badges
  • Creating personnel files and handling necessary paperwork

Offboarding:

 

  • Initiating offboarding tickets
  • Scheduling exit interviews

Projects:

 

  • Supporting departmental projects and objectives

Events:

 

  • Assisting in the organization Company events

​​​​​​​

Communications:

 

  • Developing announcements for upcoming initiatives
  • Preparing presentations for various initiatives
  • Writing articles for Schaeffler Link

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
  • Ability to prioritize
  • The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, and lift and move thirty pounds
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills with an ability to collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed
