Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead Purchase & Logistics team to ensure the fulfillment of department KPI’s.
- Implement, improve and develop purchasing and logistics processes and tools.
- Represent external resources in the course of Integrated Planning
- Identify additional capacity and technology requirements and initiate supplier development measures to meet requirements.
- Develop and implement a local purchasing strategy at the location.
- Contact person for all needs related to purchasing at the location.
- Ensure the supply of the Special Machinery location with all contents related to external procurement that are relevant for the projects at the location.
- Responsible for selection, release, and development of new suppliers for the Special Machinery location.
- Promote the integration of suppliers into the on-site production system.
- Verify and report procurement performance at the Special Machinery location.
- Responsible for collecting, booking, and commissioning the delivered material and preparing it for the downstream processes.
- Timely execution of customer deliveries (machine deliveries, supply) according to agreed-upon delivery dates.
- Responsible for inventory and stocktaking
- Develop, regularly update, and implement the logistics strategy for the location (incl. the transport, container, and packaging concept)
- Ensure healthy development in the organization and qualification of employees.
- Plan cost and investment budget and ensure budget compliance in own area.
- Maintain a good working atmosphere in the team and motivate the team with proper methods and tools.
- Ensure a proactive and efficient cooperation with other departments in Special Machinery to contribute to the overall result of Special Machinery in a positive manner.
- Live quality management systems in own area and conduct CIP projects and activities.
Your Qualifications
- University degree (technical/business) or comparable qualification
- Min. 5-year experience in purchasing management.
- Min. 10-year experience in automation company.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill in English and Chinese.
- Good computer competence
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge in special machine technology and business
- Knowledge in project management
- Excellent negotiation skill
- Data analytical skill
