Your Key Responsibilities

• Offer qualified advice on product designs to ensure that they are suitable for production, to improve process safety and to make production more economical for future series.
• Access and validate any new production technologies until they have reached a desired maturity with a focus on flexible and modular implementation as well as cost optimization.
• Structure, plan and manage “Advanced Production Technology” projects, sub-projects and work packages based on QCD.
• Definition and specification of processes, standards, and methods of the Advanced Production Technology department.
• Close cooperate with advanced production technology HQ, transfer the defined technology and method to Schaeffler China, localize the technology solutions in China.
• Operation of an active network with external research institution and innovative development service partners in the production sector.
• Manage approved budget for both department and any single projects.
• Initiation of necessary fundamental developments in the production sector
• Promotion of innovations in the product, process and production environment
• Making future production methods and technologies experienceable and further developing them in a technology factory

Your Qualifications

• Technical studies and at least 8 years’ experience in the production technology and automation fields.
• Global company background, with experience of new production concepts innovation.
• Experience of Cobots, AGV, smart factory and AI projects.
• Intercultural experience.
• Very good English skills both in oral and written
• Experience in corporations with research institutions
• Experience in the development of manufacturing concepts and process chains.
