Your Key Responsibilities
- Observe and analyze the procurement market, adapt purchasing direction or initiatives accordingly
- Select, evaluate and qualify new supplier in the region
- Optimize the material supply chain continuously in cooperation with CM/BUP, PP and support BUP in make-or-buy analysis
- Lead negotiations and close contracts/agreements for big projects with suppliers
- Improve the purchasing cost of purchased materials and components, e.g. initiate and drive cost reduction projects
- Prepare and take part in related audits
- Development and implement regional category purchasing strategy to secure the purchasing sustainability
- Integrate and implement the purchasing new initiatives of the Schaeffler Group in the region and develop synergies
- Coordinate the budget progress and monitor the fulfillment
- Introduce and develop necessary tools to improve productivity
- Support and take initiatives on Health, Safety& Security
- Support on Internal Control
- Support on Excellence
- Responsible for EHS on own responsible area and strictly follow legal requirements and Schaeffler regulations, proper use personal protection equipment, attend relevant EHS training, immediately report accident or unsafe aspects to supervisor
Your Qualifications
- Good experience and knowledge in purchasing affairs
- Excellent negotiation skill
- Good experience in leading cross functions/cross cultural team
- Strong commitment to business targets
- Capable to manage complex projects
- Good strategic thinking
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Good communication skills on an international basis
- Strong leadership skills
- Inter-cultural experience / skills
- Highest business ethics and conduct
