Your Key Responsibilities

  • Creates and implements technical quality concepts and solutions for manufacturing and assembly processes - with the support of process-related KPI analyses.
  • Oversees or conducts quality checks or designated product/manufacturing process inspections, decides on blocking of suspect or defective parts or products for further decision.
  • Analyses and creates technical concepts for optimization of quality aspects in production or assembly processes assigned.
  • Implements quality standards, initiatives, technical concepts and verifies application and effectiveness.
  • Manages complaints and related costs and initiates corrective actions in cooperation with local Quality Management and Customer Quality.
  • May support preparation and conduction of internal and external audits.

Your Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a quality related discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality related function
  • Good working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality assurance techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and conduct first article inspections (FAIR)
  • Good knowledge of fundamentals, principles and management of quality functions within the scope of Schaeffler
