Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead/ direct implementation of lean tools and methods
  • Teach all basic tools and moderate advanced tool classes
  • Understand KPIs to interpret, teach and implement changes in operational activities including workshops, problem solving activities, etc.  
  • Facilitate rollouts of global/ regional initiatives and reviews
  • Alignment of goals and tasks with manager to ensure applicable qualification as defined in qualification matrix
  • Communicate effectively with all coworkers consistent with company procedures and LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS
  • Promote and support company policies, guidelines and mission statements
  • Adherence to export control regulations and policies
  • Comply with safe work practices: report unsafe working conditions, review any safety issues in operations, report all first aid incidents
  • Comply with work standards, identify opportunities for quality improvements, and report quality incidents 
  • Adherence to Environmental Management System guidelines, legal compliance, minimizing environmental impact, pursuing preventative measures 

Your Qualifications

  • BSc/BA degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated competency
  • At least 1 year of experience at Schaeffler or in other manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Experience with developing and documenting processes (technical and administrative)
  • Quality Systems knowledge
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Ability to lead implementation projects and follow up procedures
  • Persistent and “driven” motivator, proactive, goal oriented
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 75% Regional Role, 25% Plant Role
