Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CNC programs according to prototype and production prints.
  • Responsible for accuracy and functionality of CNC machine programs.  Analyze machine/program problems and implement any corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Support machine operator, technician and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve production/process issues.
  • Work with Tooling department to identify and coordinate the required tooling for the process.
  • Compile and maintain documentation such as setup sheets, tooling setup sheets, program notes and work instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, and independently work to improve machine cycle time, setup time, uptime and quality via improvements to the CNC program or tooling.
  • Participate in the change management process by controlling and updating CNC programs.
  • Participate in audits as required.

Your Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC turning/milling/deburring machines.
  • Working knowledge of CAM software, preferably Mastercam.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Self starter.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with 5-axis CNC programming experience.
