Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs according to prototype and production prints.
- Responsible for accuracy and functionality of CNC machine programs. Analyze machine/program problems and implement any corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Support machine operator, technician and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve production/process issues.
- Work with Tooling department to identify and coordinate the required tooling for the process.
- Compile and maintain documentation such as setup sheets, tooling setup sheets, program notes and work instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, and independently work to improve machine cycle time, setup time, uptime and quality via improvements to the CNC program or tooling.
- Participate in the change management process by controlling and updating CNC programs.
- Participate in audits as required.
Your Qualifications
- Experience with CNC turning/milling/deburring machines.
- Working knowledge of CAM software, preferably Mastercam.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, working knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self starter.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 5-axis CNC programming experience.
