Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and continuously monitor the production concept with Industrial Engineering.
- Provide day to day direction and functional technical support to the Planners and Shop Floor Controllers
- Analyze and execute demand vs. capacity check
- Coordinate needs for actions together with production in case of demand deviations
- Monitor the load of the production bottlenecks
- Define actions with production to alleviate bottleneck constraints
- Optimize planning and control processes, to include monitoring master data and maintaining accuracy and consistency as related to the Integrated Planning model.
- Align demand with Account Executive, CSRs, and customers to maintain customer delivery requirements
- Support and adherence to local, regional and global KPIs for example: Delivery reliability, Past Dues, Inventory DOH, Logistics Cost, Premium freight, Planning attainment
Your Qualifications
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or business-related field
- 2+ years of experience in planning and logistics preferred
- Demonstrates leadership qualities
- ASCM – CPIM/CSCP Certification or ability to become certified within the first year of employment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking skills
- Goal and results oriented
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in ERP systems – SAP experience and asset
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology specifically value streams
