Group Engineer

Schaeffler Canada Inc. is seeking a Group Engineer to provide technical support for our manufacturing departments. This position is one that develops top engineers into future leaders of our growing organization. This is a 2 year program comprised of 4 production based rotations (6 months in duration) that can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada).

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Recent graduate who works in structured introduction programs to gain administrative or commercial experience in a range of and across different plant operations departments
  • Works with a seasoned professional engineering manager (a mentor) developing best practices and evolving into a plant production leader at the Schaeffler Group
  • Areas of training include production management, quality, supply chain, supervision and plant management

Your Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or similar programs
  • Previous Internship/Co-op experience in manufacturing environment
  • Be a team player with exceptional communication skills
  • Must be competitive, goal-oriented and possess a strong desire to lead others
  • Willingness to relocate to any of our production locations within North America upon completion of the 2-year training program.
  • Previous work experience in Manufacturing environment preferred
