Your Key Responsibilities
- Able to perform routine maintenance work on industrial machinery.
- Able to use/learn to use measuring instruments, crane, and forklift as required
- Read drawings and communicate problems to Journeyman Electrician
- Help with Fabrication projects as required and troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
- Identify and or repair/replace defective machine parts and equipment. & perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment as scheduled.
- Ability and/or knowledge for heavy rigging and machinery moving.
Your Qualifications
- Education: At minimum, completed Grade 12 diploma
- Must have valid Ontario Industrial Electrician Certificate (code: 442A)
- Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of mechanical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline.
- Skills: Knowledge of Schaeffler production and quality systems. Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines. Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
