Your Qualifications
- Current student in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering program.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Undergraduates who work in different departments of the organization to gain practical experience in the course of an academic education.
- Individual will work closely with the Quality Assurance department in analyzing manufacturing defects for disposition and completing continuous improvement projects
Education: Currently enrolled in Post Secondary Education in a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participating in daily meetings That take a closer look on parts with defects, to assess their compliance to quality standards.
- Assisting the quality engineers with their projects.
- Working on projects to Find solutions for recurring problems.
- Working with other departments to identify reasons for defects and how to limit them.
- Running daily, weekly and monthly scrap reports.
- Analysing data using excel Microsoft.
- Creating Rework Routers for parts that are being fixed using SAP
- Interpreting engineering prints to locate the defect.
- Responsible for MRB Area, which requires documentation of parts that goes in and out of it.
- Identifying continuous improvement projects and work with team to implement
