Co-Op/Intern - Master Planning & Logistics (January 2025; Automotive) - 8+ months

Your Key Responsibilities
· Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions.
· Daily Scheduling meetings and activities with Production Leaders.
· Verify capacity and demand risks, highlighting and communicating constraints.
· Updating SAP Material Masters.
· Communicate with external suppliers.
· Monitor deliveries from suppliers for assigned materials and updating SAP.
· Planning - Creation of releases and EDI transmission to Suppliers.
· Monitoring inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max.
· Support inventory and cost reduction activities.
· Analyze MRP run and determine demand.
· Order management including purchase orders, production orders to tool centers and scheduling agreements with suppliers of assigned materials.
· Provide consumption reports as needed.
· Other activities/ projects as assigned.
Your Qualifications
· Currently enrolled at a post-secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program
· Available to work in person/on site in Stratford, Ontario
· Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
· Strong knowledge and skills in MS Excel
· Ease at math and problem solving.
· Some flexibility with working hours
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Basic knowledge in SAP
· Consistent and effective planning abilities
· Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
