- This posting is for filling a vacancy in both our CAD Team and Design Team, applications will be considered for both roles.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop (with support) and apply knowledge of current and emerging bearing designs.
- Participate in functional teams with Designers, Process Planners, Applications Engineers, Account Leaders, Outside Sales Engineers, Quality, Planning/ Purchasing etc.
- Support in the development of prototypes, as well as the rollout of production improvements.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives.
- Interface with customers on technical manufacturing or design projects, supporting Account Leaders and/or Outside Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, Planning and Quality.
Design Intern
- Review and approving new drawings as well as drawing/process modifications.
- Implement timely drawing modifications for immediate use on the shop floor
- Assist with the disposition of defective parts and contribute to scrap reduction efforts.
CAD Intern
- Create technical drawings for quoting and production purposes.
- Administer and manage the internal drawing/process change request system
- Update 3D CAD models and drawings to align with evolving standards, optimize production, or meet any other identified needs
Your Qualifications
Education:
- Currently enrolled at a Post-Secondary Educational Institution in an Engineering program
- Eligible for a 16 month Internship starting May 2026
Skills:
- Strong technical background
- Experience with CAD software
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
