Senior Specialist, Controlling Bearings and Industrial Solutions Asia Pacific

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare budgeting and planning processes for Business Unit (BU)/Business Division (BD)/Subregion/B&IS Divisions within the Asia Pacific region, monitor progress against agreed budgets, and analyze any deviations.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports related to business revenues, costs, forecasts, and budgets, providing insightful and qualified advice to support the development of BU/BD/Subregion/B&IS Divisions.
• Maintain functional KPIs and metric systems, and propose or implement initiatives and projects aimed at improving financial performance and cost efficiency.
• Serve as the accountable financial business consultant for BU/BD/Subregion/B&IS Divisional management, advising on all financial matters including target costing, quotation processes, sales activities, investment controlling, and profitability analysis.
• Support monthly and yearly financial closing activities for the BU/BD/Subregions within the B&IS Division in the Asia Pacific region.
• Collaborate closely with the B&IS Division Controlling team for the Asia Pacific region to ensure alignment and support across controlling functions.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a finance-related role.
• Possesses Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Highly motivated and dedicated to supporting the B&IS Division organization across the Asia Pacific region.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a hands-on mentality.
• Proactive communicator with the ability to network effectively across functions and sub-regions within the B&IS Division as well as with Global Headquarters.
• Willingness to understand and adhere to Schaeffler Group business processes while providing sound financial advice to the B&IS Division.
• Solid proficiency in controlling and/or accounting principles.
• High level of commitment, ability to learn quickly, and capable of performing well under pressure.
• Mature, intelligent, and driven by a strong desire to drive change and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
