Project Manager (2-year Contract)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Take a hands-on role in managing projects across all phases - initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and proper documentation.
• Develop and maintain project charters and management plans, actively overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Perform budgeting and forecasting tasks directly, ensuring accurate financial planning, cost control, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Plan and coordinate VIP visits and high-level meetings personally, managing logistics and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, research institutes, and government bodies to drive innovation and secure new project opportunities.
• Support open innovation initiatives by engaging with startups and innovation networks to enhance Schaeffler’s R&D portfolio.
• Support user experience strategy for innovation projects, including design research, user journey mapping, and technology roadmap development.
• Support in facilitating discussions with NTU and other stakeholders on research and innovation projects, contributing to strategic ideation and proposal development.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Design, Business, or a related field or equivalent practical experience, with specialization in Project Management, Product Design, or User Experience (UX).
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing large-scale, complex R&D projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with research areas such as Robotics, Mobile Robots, and IoT applications is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of project management principles and the full project life cycle.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel; experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and risk management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
