Goal of Position
- Member of Executive Management Team for VLS and Functions (Purchasing, Finance & IT and Operations & SCM)
- HR business partner to the AP Board Member for VLS and Functions (Purchasing, Finance & IT and Operations &SCM) supported to ensure all HR and people related topics are managed and coordinated across AP
Your Key Responsibilities
- Work as a strategic partner with the regional management team to drive divison via talent initiatives that are aligned with business objectives
- Consult with and influence senior leaders on key business issues that have HR implications, and on decisions that affect employees and the organization
- Assess HR implications of the business strategy, identify opportunities to further meet business needs, and design solutions
- Act as first line of contact for designated employees and managers. Play an active role in business activities, understand subregional business context, issues and challenges to provide specific advice to business managers
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior managers in order to drive the execution of HR programs
- Drive the delivery of key HR programs and services including talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, succession planning, leadership development, engagement/retention strategies, etc. for the subregion
- Develop and align regional people strategy in alignment with the regional HR strategy
- Lead annual talent review, working with managers on outlining succession plans, identifying high potentials and managing development profiles as well as low performer management
- Steer talent development activities for the subregion
- Define workforce demands and develop subregional, diverse talent pipeline and talent pool
- Support corporate strategic projects
- Provide operational guidance to subregional and regional HRBPs
Your Qualifications
- Degree of any discipline with at least 15 years of working experience in HR role in multinational organization
- At least 5 years of working experience in a functional or disciplinary leadership role
- Good understanding of the business and organizational set up in the sub region and regional level
- Comfortable working in matrix organization
- Experience in development and execution of people strategy and linking it to business strategy
- Exhibits team leadership skills including excellent organizational influencing skills
- Demonstrate high level of strategic thinking and planning
