In this project, we explore how Large Language Models can be used to interact with robots in an intuitive conversational manner.
We would like to explore open-source multimodal models which can understand images and text together which would enable robot control using speech enriched with scene understanding.
Additionally, speech to text algorithms that are more suitable for noisy environments would also be explored.
Your Key Responsibilities

Explore new solutions and technologies in the area of computer vision/NLP.
- Work closely with development to create demo applications.
- Research and test state of the art algorithms for multimodal large language models.
- Ad hoc support on data engineering/front end development related tasks.
Master's students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Your Qualifications

Willingness to learn new things and possess a passion for AI solutions
- Self-motivated and willing to work with a distributed team to break new ground.
- Resourceful and creative in self-learning (expert in Google!)
- Experience in Python and/or C++
- Experience with computer vision/NLP algorithms
